Chipboard Poem
Watch this little one,
She's pining away,
With her butcher's knife,
Coffin purse
And black bouquet.
Death Certificate
No one cared how she turned up dead.
So Sadie chose to rise instead.
Being easily forgotten wouldn't be fair,
Death was something this child had to share.
Fun facts and Rumors
I've heard that on her wrists are 'cuts' but I have not seen Sadie up close to be able to see if this is true or false. Sadie was the first Living Dead Doll ever created by Ed and Damien. There recently was a new version of her released for the 13th anniversary of Living Dead Dolls (LDD) being created. People say that Sadie has a sister in Series One named Sin.
Acessories
Coffin shaped plastic purse with the LDD symbol (otherwise known as one of the many symbols for the devil) in red paint and a butcher knife-shaped handle with bright red fake blood on the tip. A black bunch of flowers. Comes in a black coffin-shaped box wearing a black long-sleeved dress that goes about to her 'knees' with a big white collar, white socks, black generic shoes, and has long black hair with average colored peach skin. One eye has a black iris and the other has a white iris.
Cause of death
Everyone believes it's suicide, and most signs point to that. So I agree, Sadie was a suicide.
Ed Long and Damien Glonek started creating Living Dead Dolls in 1998, and signed to Mezco in 2000. Currently, there are over 100 dolls that they've created, each with a chipboard poem and death certificate all original to each doll. This is a blog for beginning collectors, or for people just interested in the dolls.
