Fun Facts and Rumors
When she was first released, there was an extremely limited blood-splattered version of her, and a blue version with white hair. They were sold in the coffin in black 'body bags' which you had to open to reveal if you got the bloody doll or the blue doll. For the 10th anniversary, Ed and Damien released three different colored Eggy's to three different countries. The United Kingdom received a grey and pink one, the United States got black and red, and Japan sold yellow and pink with green hair.
Accessories
She comes in a white (generic, this is just the official and most common Eggy that you can find out there) bunny suit with a pink tint on the stomach. It has a big collar that is also white and has a hood with the rabbit ears attached, also tinted pink. Her hair is violet and there is a bloody X on her forehead. The strings on the hood are tied around her neck in the fashion of a noose. Her eyes have light blue-white irises that are circled in red, and the pupil is small and black. Her skin is average peach and her lips are black. She comes with a small white easter basket with one pink polka dotted egg and a roach. It also has fake green grass.
Cause of Death
Suicide via hanging herself with the strings of her hood, as it says in her certificate.
Bonus Photos
I apologize that the blood splattered photo of Eggy is of bad quality. I could not find a better one, because all the others were hand created by the ones that bought her or were Photoshopped to look like she was the rare blood-splatterd Eggy.
Ed Long and Damien Glonek started creating Living Dead Dolls in 1998, and signed to Mezco in 2000. Currently, there are over 100 dolls that they've created, each with a chipboard poem and death certificate all original to each doll. This is a blog for beginning collectors, or for people just interested in the dolls.
